Auction for Garry Stead

JAMES EASTER of TRAVEL PLUS TOURS has been in touch regarding their recent trip to the PRAGUE GP

"We sponsored 2 riders in the Czech best Pairs with our own race jackets", he said, "These have been auctioned off ...plus some donations from the DIVISOV CLUB in Czech...the auction attained £270".

James added, "We did the same on our tour to MALILLA with a total of another £100.00 with articles donated by the NYKOPING CLUB".

James concluded that with their £200 race sponsorship at Garry's meeting he would be sending a cheque for a total of £600.

We acquired some memorabilia on our recent tour to the Czech Republic which we wil be auctioning over the remainder of the season. They include a race jacket signed by some of the real legends of Czech speedway.

Also there is a programme of the meeting, together with a memorial brochure, and a medal that was presented to all the competitors at the Divisov meeting.

Rare and priceless items for the serious collector.

The auction will remain open until Monday 15 October 2007 (the Monday after Gelsenkirchen) with all the proceeds going to the Garry Stead Fund.
